Mohammed Assad is a photojournalist based in the Gaza Strip where he has covered three wars, and nearly a decade of blockade. He has 16 years of experience and has worked with various local and international media agencies. He has received 10 Arab and international awards, most of them for covering wars, including the Dubai Award for Arab Journalism and the Best Photojournalism Award. Additionally, he is a diver and a scientific documentarian of the Palestinian marine environment.
