Untold Cham is a visual storytelling program dedicated to producing photographic and video stories from the Cham region (Levant), including Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine. Building on the experience of UntoldPalestine, which began in 2019, this new initiative expands our work across borders to support a broader community of photographers, videographers, and storytellers.
Launched in 2025, Untold Cham aims to challenge stereotypical images and dominant narratives by amplifying local voices that highlight human rights, social change, and everyday life stories in the region. The project seeks to transcend physical and political borders, creating a collective of photographers and a platform for regional dialogue through visual storytelling.
Throughout 2025, the program will run three open call cycles, through which we will select and support participants to produce 50 photographic stories and 25 video stories that will be shared across our platforms.
