Art meets identity

I started playing Qanoun at the age of seven; two years after my father's passing. My mom thought it would be good for me to release built up stress in a healthy way, and honestly, I can't imagine my life without "Sadiq" my Qanoun. I named it Sadiq, which means friend, because I spend more time with it than anyone else.

I built my own world with music, began writing, composing and playing my own songs. Along with drawing, it's another way to express myself.

For me, music is a dream I share with my mom; but unfortunately it is difficult for me to continue this dream here in Gaza. Even though this place has made me who I am, it's also taking this dream away from me.

Music and art in harmony

This is a challenge for me to prove myself, and to show the world what I'm capable of.
